About the Churchill Fellows' Association

The Churchill Fellows’ Association of Western Australia was established in the early 1970s as the organisation of Churchill Fellows from Western Australia (WA). The Association runs special events for its members, including the annual Perth dinner to honour each year’s new Fellows from WA. Other events include talks by Churchill Fellows and participatory activities for its members within WA.

The Association also has as a goal supporting the Churchill Trust of Australia’s activities to promote Churchill Fellowships within Australia and articulate to the community the benefits that these Fellowships bring to everyone in our State.

More than 300 Churchill Fellowships have been awarded in Western Australia, across a multitude of professional, artistic, academic, trade and other disciplines.

The Churchill Fellows’ Association is a not-for-profit incorporated association, and has similar counterpart organisations in other States of Australia. The WA Association’s patron is the Governor of Western Australia, Dr Kenneth Michael AC.

Never Give In...
"This is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."

5th National Convention

Friday 22 – Sunday 24 October
Melbourne, Victoria

The organisers for the annual convention are still finalising the programme, but it promises to be another great event.

At this stage, it looks like including a Government House reception, Yarra River cruise, visits to museums and galleries, several very special events and—of course—the Annual National Convention Dinner.

Those who've been say it's a tremendous trip and worth doing.
